During my Profesional Semester III semester, I completed an Environmental Education Internship with Parks Canada, in Pond Inlet, Nunavut. During this internship I developed resources to be used by the park as well as by teachers in the classroom. I completed my Professional Semester II teaching Grade 6 at Cardston Elementary School, in Cardston, Alberta. During my time at this school I taught science to 110 students in four classes. I also taught my homeroom class english, health and art. My Professional Semester I was completed at Mountain View Elementary School, in Mountain View, Alberta. I taught a Grade 1 class Science, Social Studies, Health, Computers, Music and Art.
I completed my Education 2500 by volunteering at Ecole Sainte Marguerite-Bourgeoys and St. Vincent de Paul School, in Calgary, Alberta. Below you can find reference letters from Christelle Clairet and Erin Kolla from this volunteering experience.
